Yellow split peas grown and processed in the EU, like red lentils they do not hold their shape when cooked and are therefore more commonly used in soups and casseroles for thickening.

Mung beans are small olive green beans used widely for sprouting, however also eaten as beans when soaked over night and cooked for only 20 minutes or so. Supplied from countries around Russia and also around.

Black turtle beans supplied from USA and China, Africa that are grown around as per our indication. The Beans are small, oval shaped and black in colour and typical in salads.

Adzuki beans like mung beans cook much quicker due to their size. The tiny deep red beans have a sweet nutty flavour and are used commonly in oriental cooking.
